CITRA Winter Trail Run 2012 Date and Time: Sunday Feb 12th 2012, 9AM start Distance: 4 miles. Location:
Due to changes at Wildlife Prairie State Park, this year's event has
been moved to Independence Park in Marquette heights. Link to Google Maps.
The Park is just south of the Pekin exits on I-474. Pre and Post
Race will be held at the elementary school across the street from the
pavillion at the park.

Results: Race Director: Greg DeKeyser SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: There will be NO aid stations during this race. Also please anticipate the possibilities both of EXTREMELY COLD WEATHER AND DEEP SNOW! This makes for a very challenging (but fun!) course and all participants should plan accordingly. Event Description:
This
event
will
take
place at Independence Park in Marquette Heights, IL. While the
Start/Finish are will be at the park, Packet pickup (7am to 8:45am) and
Post-Race awards will be held at Marquette Heights Elementary School
which is right across the street from the park pavilion. Parking
can be done in the park's parking areas or the parking lot of the
school. If the parking lots fill up, overflow parking will be on
the side streets in the area.
The course itself is will be hilly and ofroad...adding the possibility of snow and you'll be in for a good race! You'll get your money's worth here! Course Map: (Original map courtesy of the Peoria Area Mountain Bike Association)
